UCI Track World Cup season continues in Melbourne 20 Nov 2008 The second round of the 2008-09 UCI Track World Cup Classics kicked off in Australia on Thursday as four Americans took to the track on the first of the three-day affair. Becky Quinn posted the top U.S. finish of the day with a sixth-place result in the women’s 10-kilometer scratch race. Shelly Olds earned the 11th spot and Theresa Cliff-Ryan was 20th. Cari Higgins contested the women’s sprint, but was unable to move out of the qualifying round.
